Larry was my English teacher and one of my favorite teachers at the Junior High. He had a great, subtle sense of humor. I am in my 44th year of teaching English and often think of how I model his approach. Also got to play some golf with him in Hooper in later years. Thank you Larry for putting up with my false sense of how funny I was in class and for being a role model.

To Cassy and family, I am sorry for your loss. Your dad was a fine teacher, and a kind humble man. He was admired and respected. Both of my kids had him for English and thought he was a great teacher. Thoughts and prayers, Lois McMullen

I was very fortunate to teach next to Mr. Beasing for many, many years on the third floor of the Administration Building. I always admired Larry's calm demeanor and approach to teaching his 9th graders, and I sent my honor's 8th graders to him for another round of challenging classics. Many hall duty conversations flood my mind now, and I chuckle at his one-of-a-kind humor and keen observations!

R.I.P. my friend. You will be missed . . .

Tom McGuire

Claremont, CA

So many fond memories of my time with Larry. Our football, basketball and baseball days were loads of fun. His touchdown passes to me during our junior and senior years provided the springboard for my ability to move on to college. He was so deserving of being selected the honorary captain in football our senior year. He was a gentle spirit and one that will be missed by all who knew him.

I was fortunate to know Larry when I worked at the Pro Shop at Elkhorn Valley Golf Club. He was such a gentle man and always had a kind word. Rest in Peace Larry.

David & Thelma Lunsford

Las Vegas, NV

Thelma and I were very good friends with Larry back in our school days and after. Time and life events took us in separate directions, but the memory of youth and the sound anchor of Falls City cemented bonds distance and time could not erode. We are so very sorry to learn of Larry's passing. Our sympathies, thoughts and prayers go out to the family. Ruhe ins Frieden Larry!
