She was born May 17, 1929 in Seward, Nebraska to Claire M. Nelson and Lorene Dady Nelson. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband John E. Heald, an infant son, an infant great granddaughter, and son in law Gary D. Dunbar. Survivors include her sister, Donna (George) Tilley of Flagstaff, AZ; daughter Laura (Lori) Converse Dunbar of Springdale, AR; son Alan Nelson Converse of Daytona Beach, FL; 10 grandchildren; her great grandchildren, nieces and nephews, and countless cousins across the country.
