Eugene L. 'Boge' Robart age 84, of Scribner
Died Thursday May 26, 2016 at his home.

Boge was born February 17, 1932 in Scribner to Howard and Emily 'Meyer' Robart. He grew up in Scribner and graduated from Scribner High School in 1950. Shortly after high school he began his career at Hormel that lasted for over 40 years. Boge married JoAnn Benne and they have been Scribner residents every since. During his working years at Hormel he also owned Bogies Drive In and the Scribner Laundry Mat. Boge loved hunting, golfing and baseball. He was a member of the Hooper Golf Club, pitched for the town team and was known for his unhittable fork ball, and coached the midget and town baseball teams in Scribner. Boge was also a member of United Lutheran Church in Scribner, where he taught Sunday School, was a member of the church council and was the most dedicated coffee server.

Son Kevin (Janelle) Robart of West Point
11 grandchildren
22 great grandchildren
Sisters-in-law Diane (John) Ehlers of Houston, TX.
Linda (Tom) Langemeier of Essex, IA.

Boge was preceded in death by his daughter and her husband Susan and Ron Boll, granddaughter Stephanie, sister Doris and brother Otis.

The memorial service will be 11am Tuesday at United Lutheran Church in Scribner. The Rev. Dr. Nicki McIntyre will officiate. Memorials are suggested to the church and Scribner Rescue Squad. The family will be receiving friends at the church on Tuesday beginning at 9:30am.
