Robert A. Depperman age 80, of Kennard
died Wednesday August 10, 2016 at Good Samaritan Center in Scribner.

He was born May 25, 1936 in Oakland and lived his earlier years in Uehling. Then he came to Fremont with his family where he attended and graduated from Fremont High School in 1954.

He worked in Idaho for the railroad until he enlisted in the US Army. Then later, he worked here for Nebraska Crib & Silo. He was a welder and heavy equipment operator, and worked for the Washington County Road Dept. He also had been employed by the Bill Rhea Cattle Co.

On December 10, 1960 he was married to Barbara Swanson. She survives, along with their children, Cindy Mulder of Fremont, Ron and wife Debbie Depperman of Kennard, Steve and wife Lynn Depperman of Fremont, Karen and husband Erich Langan of Arvada, CO., and Connie and husband Jeff Petersen of Hoskins. He also has 12 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.

Robert was preceded by his parents and sister, Alyce Faye who died in childhood.

The funeral service will be 10:30 AM Tuesday (August 16, 2016) at Emmaus Lutheran Church in Kennard with the Rev. Scott Grimshaw. Visitation will be at the Ludvigsen Mortuary in Fremont Monday 3 to 8 PM with the family receiving friends 6 to 8 PM. Memorials are suggested to Emmaus Lutheran Church.
