Robert R. 'Bob' Connerley, age 80 of Fremont
died Monday, July 9, 2018 at Providence Place of Fremont.

Bob was born November 16, 1937 at North Bend, Nebraska. His parents were Charley and Marie (Harnisch) Connerley. He grew up in the North Bend / Webster area and graduated from Scribner High School in 1956. Then he served in the United States Army from 1956 to 1958.

Most of his working years, he was an over the road trucker, and owned his own truck at the time of his retirement. Bob was a member of the Teamsters and National Rifle Association.

On December 27, 1959, Bob was married to Sandra Conrad, and Fremont has been their home.

He is survived by: wife - Sandra
daughter Rhonda Shumake of Fremont and significant other Jay Bang
2 sons Robert Connerley of Cheyenne, Wyoming
Royce (Annette) Connerley, Omaha
2 granddaughters Riley (Jake) Feldman, Northglenn, Colorado
Amanda (Andrew) Valdez, Aurora, Colorado

Bob was preceded in death by his parents, his brother and 3 sisters, and daughter-in-law Gail Connerley.

There will be a memorial service 2 PM Friday at Trinity Lutheran Church. In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to Trinity Lutheran Church and Trinity Lutheran School. Ludvigsen Mortuary is assisting the family.

    So sorry to hear of Bob's passing, one of the nicest guys I have known, I knew he will be greatly missed. He used to come to my car shop and was always a pleasure to visit with. Thinking of the family at this time.
