Marvin was born on February 10, 1923 in Fremont, NE. He attended schools in Fremont and Silver Creek. He served in the U.S. Navy aboard the battleship USS North Carolina (BB 55) in the Pacific during World War II. He carried his love for his ship throughout his life having made many crew reunions. He was privileged to have made a Veterans Honor Flight to Washington D.C. Marvin was preceded in death by a brother, Vince.
Burial with Military Honors will be 1pm, August 15 at Fort McPherson National Cemetery near Maxwell, NE.
