Edwin E. Eldridge, age 74, of Fremont;
died Sunday evening (Aug. 31st) in Nye Legacy in Fremont

Edwin was born April 27, 1940 in Grand Island, Nebraska to Jasper and Opal (Binning) Eldridge. He grew up in the Wood River area and graduated from Wood River High School.

On June 15, 1974, he was married to Evelyn Ranschau, and they have been residents of Fremont since their marriage. Edwin had a varied work career. He was a machinist at Western Electric, drove truck for the missile base in Mead, worked for the Weatherby Rifle Co. in California. But for many years, he did what he enjoyed the most. He toured across the county, performing as Buffalo Bill at school convocations and other events. He entertained locally for school children and performed for many years at Fremont John C. Fremont Days.

He was a member of the Elkhorn Valley Rifle Club.

A memorial service will be 11 AM Thursday (Sept. 4th) at First Lutheran Church. The family will be at the Ludvigsen Mortuary Chapel on Wednesday evening from 6 to 8 PM to receive friends. Memorials may be directed to the family for distribution.
