Vincent Eugene Streeter, 66, of Columbia, SC., entered into rest Saturday, November 15, 2014 at Palmetto Health Baptist. Born April 7, 1948 in Norfolk, NE, he was a son of the late Vincent C. and Viola E. (Urban) Streeter. Mr. Streeter was an Auto Technician and had worked at Central Chevrolet (Newsome Chevrolet) for many years, then with Love Chevrolet. He spent his last years in the automotive industry working in the Parts Department at Dick Dyer & Associates, where he retired May 1, 2014.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Jared Wade Streeter.
Mr. Streeter is survived by his wife, Karolyn Sue (Parr) Streeter, with whom he shared a blessed union of more than 45 years; sons, Thad Streeter, and Layne Streeter (Shelley); Sara Ederma (Erik); brother, Richard Streeter (Lucy); sister, Sheila Donat (Mike); as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions be made to either PETS, Inc., 300 Orchard Drive, West Columbia, SC 29170, or to the VFW Post 641, 534 S Beltline Boulevard, Columbia, SC 29205.

The funeral service will be 2pm Friday at United Lutheran Church in Scribner. The Rev. Dr. Nicki McIntyre will officiate. Burial will follow in the Scribner Cemetery with Military Honors.
