Stan Voskamp was old school; a man of immense personal integrity with an infectiously buoyant disposition that lifted the spirits of everyone he encountered. No one worked harder and no one was more dependable. Stan made the bad times bearable and squeezed delight out of damn near every situation. He married a truly wonderful woman and raised an amazing family and will be sorely missed. The problem with the world is we're losing all our Stanley Voskamps. People who grew up in hard times and never forgot to pause on occasion to humbly appreciate the blessings bestowed on them by Providence and opportunities they forged for themselves by determination and honest industry.

    In pace requiescat.

To Marilyn and family, I am so deeply sorry about Stan's passing. All of you have been a big part of my life and family for as long as I can remember. I have such fond memories of Stan, his gas station at the top of the hill, fireworks with the family, picnics and just plain being a part of my family. Know that you are all in my heart, soul and thoughts. Rest in Peace Stan. God Bless you all.
