Leneah R. 'Lynn' Meyer, age 77, of Hooper
Died March 5, 2019 at the Hooper Care Center

Lynn was born September 20, 1941 on a farm in Burt County to Myrl and Deloris 'Snow' Fleischman. She was raised in Burt County and graduated from Oakland High School. After high school she attended beauty college and opened her first salon in Oakland. She married Harlan Meyer on January 8, 1966 at the First Baptist Church in Oakland. They moved to Hooper and she opened another hair salon. She then owned and operated a restaurant in Uehling called 'Lynn's Retreat' before retiring and becoming a full time Grandma.

Lynn was a member of the First Baptist Church in Oakland and Hooper Saddle Club. She loved music and played several different instruments, and was an avid square dancer.

Lynn was preceded in death by her husband Harlan and granddaughter Angela in May of 2000.
