Uncle Gene was an amazing man. I loved listening to his stories of our family and his life. He was always giving to others and accomplished so much in his lifetime. He made a huge difference in the world around him! My boys loved to talk to him about Scouting and always gave him the Scout Salute when they saw him. He was a hero to all of us! He will always missed!

Dana so sorry for your loss. I enjoyed talking to your Dad a few times . He had some great stories. When taking care of those cats it was fun to see the mementos at the cabin from some of those stories. Great memories for you too. He seemed like a great guy, I am sure he was a great Dad.

I just learned of Gene's passing, please accept my sympathy for your loss, but now, Gene and Vi are back together again. I always looked forward to visiting with them at state-wide Lions club events, both seemed to always have a such positive attitude about things, in spite of some challenges late in life. They set great examples for the rest of us, and it was my pleasure, and to my betterment to have known them. Now they both will be greatly missed.
