Betty and Family: Jim was a delight to be around. His love for his retractable hardtop Ford was uplifting to all. His love for his family, the land, and generally for the life he lived, gave hope to us all. I will miss him. Know that we have you in our prayers.

I remember staying with Jim and his wife Betty while working on their classic car - a 1957 Ford Skyliner. Jim and Betty showed their warm hospitality towards me while in their home. Jim had many friends and all who knew him in the car club will miss him a lot. My wife and I have prayers for peace and comfort for Betty at this difficult time and may the warm and wonderful memories be a treasure to remember.

I was very sad to learn of Jim's passing. I truly enjoyed his coming to my office and talking about his love for cars and latest excursions. He was very intense and diligent with his insurance requirements.

I am so sad to see this. I worked for Jim and Betty at the Lazy G, he was always so kind and a pleasure to work for. He had a gentleness in his voice that made you feel more confident in yourself and how you responded to others. I loved when they would ride in their classic cars and just enjoy life. I know he will be greatly missed, I will remember him always. God Bless and Comfort you all.
