Robert D Curley

Dublin, CA

As the oldest cousin in the Curley family, we all looked up to Steve as a role model and all of us were so fortunate to have such a great one as him. His polite, quiet demeanor and warm engaging smile will always be remembered. We mourn his passing and are thankful for all the days we were blessed to have been touched by him. Our thoughts and prayers are with all of his family as we remember him in our hearts.

I worked with Steve at United Suppliers. Let me tell you I considered Steve more than a friend and more of a brother. We never spent too much time without a laugh or a smart a$$ comment from one or both of us. His favorite story of the fantastic tattooed Indian lady was told to millions of people through the years. Steve was one of the most intelligent agronomists that I have ever had the privilege of working with and I have always considered him a mentor. I can only hope that I can have half the glimmer in my eyes as Steve did while teaching agronomy to anyone. I will miss our brainstorming sessions and laughs. I was only able to go on a few hunting trips with Steve but those memories are burnt into my mind forever. Steve always LOVED his family and would sit up taller when talking about them.
Steve I am sorry that you lost height from jumping out of airplanes! Go get yourself the fanciest pair of boots that you can find or have made! I love you brother!

Dad and I always enjoyed hearing Steve's stories which he told with such enthusiasm. I'm sorry to hear of his passing but know he is at peace.

Cindy S Curley

ROSEMOUNT, MN

Dear Curley Family,
It was a privilege and an honor to see Steve through the last few months of his life in terms of visiting him in hospice, advocating for him from day to day when Chris and Kevin were not there, bringing him a meal or two of his choice, and insuring that he was loved by family, friends, and God. He was a kind person and the most generous I have every known. I'm so grateful for the time we had together, supporting him through the anxiety of the unknown. Now, Steve is free of pain, worry and sadness, finally at home in Heaven. Praise God!

Cathy Brandes

So St Paul, MN

Chris, I was saddened to learn of Steve's passing. I have fond memories from the college years. I will never forget going to see the movie 1776 with Steve & Chrissy and Bill Ellis - I think the guys HATED the movie and we went for pizza after which I promptly ate the toppings off and left the sauce and crust - Steve and Bill were horrified but we laughed many times over that story. Please know that we will be thinking of you and the family and will offer a toast to Steve on the 23rd as we can not be there in person. With my love, Cathy(Garrett)Brandes

God Bless the family. Steve was my friend for 51 years. The kindest, funniest person I have ever been blessed to know.
I will miss him.
Rest In Peace my friend
