Jack was born August 3, 1937 in Uehling to Walter and Genevieve 'Tabler' Golder. He was raised in the Scribner area and graduated from Scribner High School in 1955. After high school Jack went into the Army and served from 1955 until 1958. After his military service Jack returned to Scribner and worked for Twehous Brothers Garage. He then worked for Grant Chevrolet in Fremont before going to Hooper and starting Jack's Automotive Machine in 1966.

Jack married Donna Dorfmeyer on August 19, 1960.

Jack loved to race stock cars. His most enjoyable times came racing his son Terry. They raced all over the Midwest. Jack was a former member of the Hooper City Council and the Lions Club. He was also a member of Redeemer Lutheran Church in Hooper.

Daughter-in-law Chandra Golder of Fremont
Grandson - Trevor Golder of Fremont
Mother - Genevieve Golder of Fremont
Sisters - Janice Wulf of Fremont
Jean Ann and husband Gerald Roemer of Hooper
nieces and nephews.

Jack was preceded in death by his father Walter and a son Terry.

The funeral will be 10:30A.M. Wednesday July 6 at Redeemer Lutheran Church in Hooper. The Rev. Joel Schroeder will officiate. Burial will follow in the Hooper Cemetery. Memorials will be determined at a later date. Visitation will be in Hooper on Tuesday from 3pm to 8pm with the family receiving friends from 6pm to 8pm at Ludvigsen's Hooper Funeral Chapel. Visitation will continue one hour before the service at the church.
