Shawn E. Franke age 58, of Fremont
Died Tuesday, October 14, 2025 at Nebraska Methodist Hospital in Omaha.
Shawn was born June 10, 1967 in Fremont to Eugene and Jennie 'Beebe' Franke. He was raised in Fremont and graduated from Fremont High School in 1986. After high school he attended Southeast Community College in Milford where he received his electrical engineer degree. He worked several different places but was currently working for Graybar in Omaha.
On April 9, 2011 Shawn married Brandy Dunn. He loved music and movies. As a couple they loved working on old cars and the farm they lived on was bought from his grandparents. He especially loved animals including his 7 cats and dog. Shawn was also an organ donor.

Daughter - Kelsey Peatrowsky
Mother - Jennie Franke of Fremont
Brother - Scott (April) Franke of Palmer, IA.
Nephews - Tyler (Mayra) Franke and Adam Franke
Father-in-law and Mother-in-law - Michael and Brenda Dunn
Brother-in-law - Steven Dunn
Shawn was preceded in death by his father Eugene.
The memorial service will be 10:30am, Friday, October 17, 2025 at Trinity Lutheran Church. The family will greet friends one hour before the service at church. Memorials are suggested to the Old Poor Farm or FurEver Homes.
