Doris L. TasichJanuary 30, 1935 - April 16, 2013Doris was born January 30, 1935 on the family farm in Lancaster County, Nebraska to William and Gladys 'Wallin' Gerdes. She was raised in both Dodge and Saunders Counties and graduated from Valparaiso High School in 1952. She attended the University of Nebraska for a year. After college she was married and raised 6 children. During this time she also owned and operated her own business doing bookkeeping and payroll. While operating her own business she lived in Omaha then moved to Rhode Island and lived there for 33 years doing the same work. She moved back to Nebraska then to Fremont in 2004.
