Mildred "Millie" L. Williams

Mildred L. 'Millie' Williams, age 87, of Fremont; died Tuesday September 10, 2013 at Shalimar Gardens in Fremont.
Millie was born December 29, 1925 in Hiawatha, Kansas to Max and Elsie (Beal) Ellison. As a child, she lived in several communities in Kansas, Nebraska, and Texas. In 1943, she graduated from high school in Borger, Texas, then moved in 1944 with her family to Fremont where her father worked for Orshek Construction Co. until opening his own machine shop.
Millie worked for the Hanson Auditing Co. and the Brown McDonalds Dept. Store in Fremont. On February 9, 1947, Millie was married to E. James 'Jim' Williams here in Fremont. Most of her husbands working career was in management for the F.W. Woolworth Co. in Nebraska and Colorado. Fremont became their home in December of 1981 following her husband's retirement. Millie's husband preceded her in death on October 27, 1991 after 44 happy years together.
Millie was a member of the First Baptist Church in Fremont, it's Esther Circle, and it's Helping Hands Sunday School Class.
Millie was preceded in death by her husband Jim, parents Max and Elsie Ellison, and brother Duane Ellison.
Millie is survived by a daughter, Claudia M. Breckenridge, and granddaughter, Collette M. Tolen, both of Arizona.
The funeral service will be 10:30am Thursday in the First Baptist Church. The Rev. Gundar Lamberts will officiate. Burial will follow in Memorial Cemetery. Visitation will be Today (Wednesday) from 3pm to 8pm with the family receiving friends from 6pm to 8pm at the Ludvigsen Mortuary Chapel. Memorials are suggested to the First Baptist Church.
