Tom was born October 2, 1944 in Omaha to Earl and Esther 'Dinslage' Kelly. The family moved to a Scribner area farm in the early 1950's. Tom graduated from Scribner High School in 1962. While in Scribner, Tom met the love of his life Patsy L. Parr and after attending Wayne St. College they were married on June 9, 1964. They lived in several different communities, including Omaha, where Tom worked for Continental Trailways. Eventually the family moved to Hebron in 1983, where Tom worked for Reinke Manufacturing. He then purchased his own truck and was owner/operator contracting with Westring and Sons Trucking out of Genoa and MCT out of Sioux Falls, SD.

Tom was a member of Grace Lutheran Church in Hebron.

Tom was preceded in death by his parents, sister Rose Mary, and a grand daughter Jenna.

Gravesides services will be 11am Tuesday September 17 at the Scribner Cemetery, Scribner, NE. Memorials are suggested to the American Cancer Society, Hebron Volunteer Fire Department and Grace Lutheran Church in Hebron. A Celebration of Life will be held on Wednesday September 18 at 10:30am at Grace Lutheran Church in Hebron.
