Cathy J. Hollins-Schubert
September 23, 1951 - September 29, 2013
Cathy was born to Kenneth 'Buzz' and Alice (Kunneman) Hollins on September 23, 1951 in Wakefield, Nebraska. She grew up in Fremont, graduating from Fremont High School in 1969. She graduated from the University of Nebraska, Lincoln in 1973, and received her masters degree from the University of Nebraska, Omaha.
Cathy taught elementary school in Tekamah and Stromsburg. She returned to Fremont in 1997.
On May 21, 2003, Cathy was married to Roger Schubert and they have resided in Fremont.
She was preceded in death by her parents.

great nieces and nephews Madelyn Knight, Emmett Knight, Cooper Knight, and Kailyn Gilroy
2 aunts Dottie and husband Jim Strenger of Fremont
Marilyn Kentopp of Falls City, NE
special cousin Gloria Hollins-Olson of Ogden, Utah
her spiritual community of friends in AA, and friend of Bill W for 12 years.
There will be visitation with the family Wednesday evening from 6 to 8 PM with a time of sharing at 7 PM at the Ludvigsen Mortuary. A Celebration of Life will be Saturday at 1 PM at the Ludvigsen Mortuary. Memorials are suggested to the Methodist Estabrook Cancer Center.
