Percy Edward Perry, son of Ernest and Mildred Parkin Perry, was born April 22, 1926 in Cozad, Nebraska, the sixth of ten children. He passed away on November 3, 2013 after a brief illness. Percy's early years were spent helping his mother with her large vegetable garden. He played sports in high school, and enlisted in the Army in 1944, serving in the South Pacific until the end of WW II. Returning to the US, Percy was stationed at Camp McCoy in Wisconsin where he met and married Mary Bebee on November 4, 1946. They settled in Cozad, where their two daughters, Linda Louise and Gloria Jean, were born.

Percy worked for the Union Pacific Railroad as a Cost Control Supervisor for Bridges and Buildings, retiring after 33 years. He also worked with Mary on the weekends when they owned Perry's Sundries in Waterloo. After retirement, Percy and Mary enjoyed traveling around the country, visiting family and friends.

Percy is survived by his wife Mary, daughters Linda (David) Bigley of Colorado Springs, CO and Gloria (Dave) Lamm of Lincoln, CA; four grandchildren, Joilyn (Doug) Sinclair of Atchison, KS, Sean Terry of Overland, KS, Amy (Dennis) Dempster of Roseville, CA, and Scott (Melissa) Lamm of Parker, CO; four great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, his brothers, Allen, Orville, Neil, and Herb, and his sisters, Lucille Rohnert, Bernice Miller, Elda Jean Perry, Velma Franson, and Kathleen Perry.

A private service with Military Honors will be held in his honor. Ludvigsen Mortuary, Fremont is assisting the family.
