Scott P. Batten, age 51, of Kansas City, Missouri, formerly of Fremont;
died Saturday evening (Nov. 16th) in Fremont.
Scott was born in Chicago, Illinois on April 21, 1962 to George and Loretta (Hartner) Batten. He grew up in Fremont and graduated from Fremont Senior High School. He attended Midland College in Fremont and graduated from Creighton School of Pharmacy in Omaha.
Scott has worked primarily in the Kansas City area. For 13 years he was employed by Drug Emporium, and currently he was a pharmacy manager for K-Mart.
He enjoyed traveling, and sports, especially baseball and football.

brother Douglas and wife Leslie Batten of Russellville, Kentucky
nieces and nephews Christopher, Brittney, Lauren, and Zane
The memorial service will be 1:30 PM Friday (Nov. 22, 2013) at the First United Methodist Church in Fremont with the Rev. Michael McGregor. There is no public visitation. Memorials are suggested to a youth medical scholarship fund through the First United Methodist Church. Ludvigsen Mortuary is assisting the family.
