in Omaha on Tuesday Nov. 3rd. with his family by his side. He died just 7 days before his 83rd birthday.
Ervin was born November 10, 1932 in Winnebago, Nebraska to Roy and Grace (Kollbaum) Shadbolt. During his early childhood, he moved with his family to Pender where he grew up and graduated from high school.
On September 21, 1951, Ervin was married to Anita Hennig in Pender. They were married for 64 wonderful years. They lived with her father in Pender for a time following their marriage. Ervin drove a truck for several years. Then in 1957, they moved to Fremont where Ervin was employed by Hormel Foods, working there for 31 years. The last few years at Hormels, he was an assistant union steward. Following his retirement, the couple lived in Wahoo for 2 years where they managed an apartment complex. Their next move was to Omaha where they managed a condominium complex. They recently moved to the Elkhorn area. Ervin was an avid Cornhusker Football fan. Earlier, when living in Fremont, Ervin was a member of the Volunteer Fire Dept.

Robert (Marilyn) Shadbolt of Roy, Utah
He was preceded by his parents, brothers Don and Roscoe, and a daughter-in-law Kathleen Shadbolt.
The funeral service will be 10:30 AM Saturday (Nov. 7. 2015) at Trinity Lutheran Church with Rev. Dan Heuer. The committal will be in St. John's Lutheran Cemetery near Pender. Memorials may be directed to the family for distribution. Visitation will be Friday from 3 to 8 PM, with the family receiving friends from 6 to 8 PM at Ludvigsen Mortuary.
