passed away suddenly on Friday December 11th, 2015 at the University Medical Center.
Pat was born July 2, 1941 to Henry and Irene (Blair) Lyddon in Little Rock Arkansas. Her family moved with the military until settling on 4th street in Fremont. After graduating from Fremont Senior High School, she began work as a Hormel switchboard operator. On April 21st, 1963 she married Fred Scott. She stayed home for several years to raise her children before joining Valmont as a secretary. Her favorite working memories were those of being a secretary at Lincoln Elementary. She enjoyed spending time with children and sharing their stories. Pat filled her free time with painting, crafts, bingo, lunching with friends, shopping with friends, exercising with friends (really anything with friends), traveling, and visiting with family.
She is survived by her husband of 53 years, Fred Scott, of Fremont. She is also survived by her daughter, Tiffany Scott Condit, her husband Christian, their children Abigail and Carter of Louisville KY; son Chad Scott, his wife, Lisa and their children Emma, Lydia and Ian of Ellicott City, MD; and sister-in-law Rida, her husband Larry, Knutzen of Cedar Bluffs.
She adored her nieces and nephew. She will also be missed by her many dear friends who meant the world to her.
She was preceded in death by her parents Henry and Irene Lyddon and both her sisters Gayle Doud and Deb Lyddon.
Visitation will be Thursday at Ludvigsen Mortuary from 3-8pm with family present from 6-8pm. The funeral will be Friday, 10:30am at First United Methodist Church in Fremont, burial will follow at Memorial Cemetery. In lieu of flowers the family asks that you honor her life with donations to the Dodge County Humane Society.

Lincoln, NE Thursday, December 17, 2015 Tiff and family, I'm so very sorry to hear about your mom. The memories I have of her are that she was always smiling and bubbly...even when she was putting up with our group's shenanigans. Try to take some solace in the fact that she's in a better place now and can look over you and yours every day.God bless!

Fremont, NE Sunday, December 13, 2015 Fred, Chad, Tiffany and families,I was so schocked and saddened to hear of Pat's death. God works in mysterious ways and although we should never question it is so hard sometimes to understand. I pray that ALL of you will find comfort in your many happy memories and in knowing heaven's doors opened and she is now in the arms of Jesus. As tears flow and the grief is painful may you all know you have many friends who share your sorrow.
