Abingdon, VA Wednesday, November 9, 2016 John and I were friends, co-workers, room mates, and attended the University of Nebraska together. In high school John's 1954 Mercury convertible was his pride and joy. Later, it was always a treat to be invited to his and Joyce's home for a delicious dinner. He will be missed.Linda Schlapfer
