Lowell was born September 25, 1929 to Alfred and Lottie 'Kuss' Geisler, baptized October 6, 1929 and confirmed in the Lutheran Faith on July 4, 1943 both at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Winslow. He graduated from Hooper High School. He married the love of his life and side-kick Katie Stecher on May 28, 1950, 67 years of love and companionship, quite an accomplishment.
Lowell was a devoted dad and doting grandpa. A gentle and patient man who loved his family and church. He was a farmer his entire life and was a top notch mechanic and 'Mr. Fix-it'. He had a passion for old tractors and cars. He wasn't much of a coffee 'Klatcher' but when the University of Nebraska Marching Band performed, he was there to see his grandkids perform, even in his wheel chair. Lowell was involved in Boy Scouts for many years. He had a passion for Krispy Crème doughnuts and Katie's Lemon Meringue and Coconut Crème pies. Lowell will be greatly missed by those who had the pleasure of knowing him.

Scribner, NE Wednesday, June 28, 2017 May God comfort you with the assurance of our victory in Christ's death and resurrection. I have fond memories of Lowell's presence, calm words, and support when filling in at St. John's, Hooper in its closing years. It was always a joy to cross paths in the years that followed remembering the great connection we have as brothers and sisters in Christ wherever God directs our paths. We look forward to a great reunion with all God's family when our Lord returns in glory.Darrell & Loretta
