died Tuesday, October 17, 2017 at Nye Legacy, Fremont.
Ella was born January 14, 1919 in David City to Frank and Frances (Sobotka) Vidlak. She came to Fremont with her family at the age of 4. She received her education in Fremont, graduating from Fremont High School in 1936.
On August 24, 1941, Ella was married in Papillion to Robert G. Pannier. Ella had worked for her father's company, Vidlak Sand & Gravel. Later she worked for the former Mac's Thriftway, a neighborhood grocery store at First and Pebble Streets. Then from 1968 to 1985, she worked for the J C Penney store.
Ella was a member of First United Methodist Church and a Life member of the PTA. She was an avid bowler and was inducted into the Fremont Bowling Hall of Fame (she bowled a 299 in April of 1964). She had been an officer in several of the bowling leagues.
Ella was preceded in death by her husband Robert, and 3 sisters.

The funeral service will be 10:30 AM Friday at the First United Methodist Church with Rev. Bill Gepford. The committal will follow in Memorial Cemetery. Visitation at the Ludvigsen Mortuary will be on Thursday from 2 to 8 PM, with the family receiving friends from 6 to 8 PM. Memorials are suggested to her church.
