Ardys was born May 29, 1926 in Snyder, Nebraska to Elsa (Kneiriem) and Herman Fischer. She was baptized and confirmed at Trinity Lutheran Church in rural Scribner. Ardys attended School District 47 in Dodge County through the 8th grade.
Ardys married LeRoy Hasenkamp on August 11, 1946 at Trinity Lutheran Church where she was a member and also participated in Ladies Aid. She was a homemaker, and in her spare time enjoyed baking, gardening, quilting and taking care of her four children. While raising her family she attended Bahner Beauty School in Fremont and graduated with her cosmetology degree. In 1998 LeRoy and Ardys retired from the farm and moved to Fremont.

Eight Grandchildren - Malia (Dan) Nemecek, Christina (Joel) Leaders, Anne Hasenkamp, Greg (Kim) Hasenkamp, LeAnn (Matt) Foral, Jennifer (T.J.) Koch, Brad Hasenkamp, Jordan (Olivia) Hasenkamp,
11 Great grandchildren - Makayla and Rylee Nemecek, Landon, Parker, and Sawyer Leaders, Gabriella and Finnegan Hasenkamp, Kash and Kage Foral, Evan and Emma Koch.
Ardys was preceded in death by her parents; husband, LeRoy; daughter, Eileen Sullivan; brother and sister-in-law, Walter and Lucille Fischer; sister, Delilah; infant sister, Darlene Fischer; and cousin and cousin-in-law, Ralph and Darlene Stollberg.
The funeral will be held Wednesday, January 24, 2018 at 10:30 A.M. at St. Peter's Lutheran Church in Scribner. The Rev. Bruce Schut will officiate. The committal will take place at the Scribner Cemetery. Memorials made will be at the discretion of the family. Visitation will be Tuesday, January 23, 2018 from 3:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. with the family receiving friends from 5:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. at Ludvigsen Scribner Funeral Chapel in Scribner. Visitation will continue one hour before the service at the church.

Omaha, NE Monday, January 22, 2018 Dear Don and all your families,We are so sorry to hear of your dear Mothers passing. We both have fond memories of Her personality. I will always remember as a young man, invitations to sit at her table with a wonderful dinner before going off to Rogers football games. Don she was always so sweet to me.
