Dear Betty and family, Yvonne and I send our sincerest Christian sympathy and love to you. It was a pleasure to have known you and Don all these many years, especially when I was serving at Divine Shepherd Lutheran Church. My communion visits...and a good cup of coffee...were my highlights of visitation to you both. Thank you and Don for the friendship that you shared with us fellow Fremonters. God bless and keep you in His loving arms.

Sad to hear of my Uncle Don's passing. From an early age I always looked up to him and enjoyed conversations about family, all Husker sports and even attended a few football games together. Hormel products have to be in the house because of his long career with them. Prayers for you on your journey to heaven Uncle Don.

I am saddened to see that my mother's last surviving sibling has passed. I am so glad that I was able to have a short visit with him and his wife Betty just a few weeks ago. Uncle Don was a blessing to his family and cared for my mother (Anna Bader Oberg) very much, as she loved him. Now, all six Bader children (Irene, Elwin, Jimmie Dean, Johnny, Anna and Don) are united in heaven with their parents, Elmer and Anna. My thoughts are with his children Don L and Deb and their families.
