  1. Joni Engdahl Gray
Joyce, Larry, Mike and David, So sorry to hear of Aunt Sonya's death. They are all gone now--Aunt Virgie and Uncle Maynard, Dennis (my dad) and Ferne (my mom), Uncle Maynard and Aunt Velva, your dad (Alan) and now your mom (Sonya). Now we are the oldest generation with lots of good memories and thoughts of them all--we were lucky to have had them in our lives. My prayers are with you all. Joan Engdahl Gray
  2. Marilyn (Olson) Traver
I remember the good times I used to have on Sonya and Alan's farm. Joyce and I were close in age and good friends. I've wondered for a long time what had happened to all. I was just thinking about Sonya the other day and wondering if she were still alive. I have so many good memories of the family. My condolances to Joyce and Larry. Let's get in touch again. Love, Marilyn
  3. Ruth (Lauersen) Tucker
Joyce, was sorry to read about the death of your mother in last week's Oakland paper. We have been out of the city so didn't read it until today. I didn't realize she was still living. I lost my Dad in 1965 and my Mom in 1979. I did forward the obit to Marilyn (Olson) Traver today. She lives in Washington state. Has been a long time since you and I have had any contact. We do see Larry's brother, Roger, each year at a reunion I put together at Old Country Buffet, 145th & Center, here in Omaha on the last Sunday in September at 12:30 p.m. If you and Larry can make it, we'd love to see you.. You have our sympathy on your loss. Ruth & Don Tucker
  4. Roma J. Engdahl
I am sorry I did not know that Sonya had passed on until I read the obituaries in the Tribune today. I am thinking of you and send my sincere sympathy to Joyce and Larry and their family.
