Bruce A. Willnerd, age 67, of Hooper
Died Wednesday October 2, 2024 at Dunklau Gardens in Fremont.

Bruce was born February 15, 1957 in Fremont to Elwyn and Dorothy 'Snover' Willnerd. He graduated from Logan View High School then enlisted in the Army and served from 1975 and was honorably discharged in 1978. His working career was spent at 3M. Bruce married Kathy S. Pawling on October 3, 1976.

Bruce was a member of the Hooper Volunteer Fire Department. He had a passion for wrestling and spent many years volunteering for the Logan View Kids Wrestling Club. His spare time was spent hunting, fishing and attending his grandchildren's sporting events.

Wife - Kathy
Children - Brent (Angie) Willnerd and their family Devin, Braeden and Lainey
Duane (Haley) Willnerd and their family Wyatt, Nolan and Mya
Siblings - Garry (Kathy) Willnerd, Diane (Greg) Biram and Joel (Ralph) Willnerd
Mother-in-law - Mildred Pawling

Bruce was preceded in death by his parents and brother Larry Willnerd.

There is no viewing but the family will receive friends Sunday, October 6, 2024 from 2pm to 4pm at Ludvigsen's Hooper Funeral Chapel. Private graveside services will be at the Hooper Cemetery. Memorials are suggested to the Hooper VFD or Rescue and the Logan View Jr. Wrestling program.
