Died Friday, October 11, 2024 at Pemberly Place in Lincoln

Marlene was born August 9, 1935 in Oakland, Nebraska to Axel and Ethel 'Lundvall' Nelson. She was raised in Oakland/Craig area and graduated from Oakland High School. After high school Marlene attended flight stewardess school. She married Bill Hultquist and they later divorced. Marlene then married Duane Clough on February 9, 1958. They lived in Fremont then moved to Hooper. Marlene lived in the Hooper community until moving back to Fremont in 2018 then to Lincoln in 2021 to be closer to family.
Marlene started selling Avon products in 1962 and sold for Avon for over 60 years.

Rochelle Meyer of Lincoln and family Dylan (Torrie) Meyer, Alec (Mariah Jessen) Meyer

James (Barbie) Clough of South Dakota and family Dakota (Reese) West and their daughter Bailey; Austin Clough
Brother - Marlin Nelson of Ava, MO.

Marlene was preceded in death by her parents, daughter-in-law Kae Clough and sister-in-law Karen Nelson.

Visitation with the family will be Sunday, October 20, 2024 at the Ludvigsen Mortuary Chapel in Fremont from noon to 2pm. Family graveside will follow in the Oakland Cemetery. Memorials may be directed to the family.
