Perry D. Wolsleben, age 67, of Fremont
passed away at home on Sunday, October 20, 2024

Perry was born on February 27, 1957 to Loren and Darlene 'Jones' Wolsleben in Broken Bow, Nebraska. Perry and his family also lived in California and Oregon when the boys were younger. He attended Colusa High School in Colusa, California where he was a pitcher for the high school baseball team and was scouted by some of the big league teams. He moved back to Broken Bow the summer of 1975 where he married his wife Leslie Osterhoudt on June 11, 1976. In July of 1987 they moved to Fremont and worked for Fremont Monument Company. Three boys were born to this marriage, Kelly, Erin and Nevin. After he retired he spent his time doing woodworking projects and watching his sons grow up. When the grandchildren came along they were the sparkle of his eye. His favorite season was Christmas and listening to Christmas songs.

Perry is survived by his wife Leslie, sons Kelly, Erin (Brittney) and Nevin (Danielle), 11 grandchildren, three brothers Jeff (Lindy) of Germany, George (Deb) of Woodcliff and Bill (MacKenzie) of Springfield, Oregon. He is also survived by three aunts and one uncle. In-laws Marlin (Vickie), Cheri (Jim) and Dwight. Several nieces, nephews and cousins, as well as his constant companion Pickles.

Perry was preceded in death by his grandparents, parents and older brother Dennis.

A celebration of Perry's life will be 3pm, Friday, October 25, 2024 at the Fremont Presbyterian Church. Burial will be at a later date. Ludvigsen Mortuary in Fremont is in charge of arrangements.

  1. Cheri Osterhoudt
Due to health reasons I was unable to be with my sis in person but due to the video of the service I was able to join the family in paying my respects to Perry. The service was beautiful and I believe Perry was looking down with contentment to see his family together to honor and say good bye to him. Rest in peace Perry and love to the Wolsleben family.
