Passed away July 18, 2025 at Nye Legacy in Fremont.
Alice was born August 11, 1925 in West Point, Nebraska to Otto and Clara 'Moeslein' Weber. As a young girl the family moved to Scribner. She was confirmed at St. Peter's Lutheran Church in Scribner by the Rev. Wehrmann. She attended Scribner Public School and graduated in May of 1943. She moved to Omaha and worked at Union Pacific until returning to Scribner and marrying Roger W. Stibor at St. Peter's Lutheran Church by Rev. Wehrmann on March 5, 1946. To this union they had five children, Mary, Cindy, John, Pete and Sara.
After raising their family, she started working at Grosserode Drugstore and retired at age 86. She was awarded Employee of the year during that time.
They had a large garden and canned every summer, even giving some of it to their neighbors. She also loved her flowers. They belonged to several card clubs and they went dancing, especially polka, at Peony Park in Omaha with friends. The couple also enjoyed many fishing trip vacations to Minnesota, camping, boating and fishing on the Elkhorn River, family and friends.

Alice was preceded in death by her parents, husband, children Mary (Stan) Kelberlau, John Stibor, Sara (Tim) Nielsen and son-in-law Jim Shotkoski.
The funeral will be Monday, July 21, 2025 at St. Peter's Lutheran Church in Scribner, burial will follow in the Scribner Cemetery. Memorials are suggested to St. Peter's. Visitation will be Sunday, July 20, 2025 at the Scribner Funeral Chapel with the family present from 2pm to 4pm.

North bend, NE Saturday, July 19, 2025 I loved alice like i loved my mother she was always so happy to see me and i remember her telling me aboit her trips to the lake of her sons pete by north bend and her trip she was concerned about going but glad shr went she told her son all the time i was her favorite vand always smiling i cared for her at nye square and was sad when she got transferred to nye legency i miss and loved that lady sorry for your lloss felt sorry fof hef for her loss of her kods and she was always so worried about her kiidsTim Howard
