Stan was born March 5, 1917 in Snyder, NE. to Fredrick and Lillie 'Sterner' Bokowski. He lived in Snyder for a short time and then moved to Fremont. He attended school in Fremont until he entered the United States Navy. He served during WWII in various theaters of Operations including the South Pacific. After his military service he returned to Fremont. Stan was a general contractor. He built the Military Carwash then moved into homebuilding. He also built and customized cars and motorcycles.

Stan was a member of First Lutheran Church and the Fraternal Order of the Eagles, Arie #200.

Married Mardell Klebe Cline on October 5, 1990.

Son - Larry and wife Sharon Bokowski of Denver, Colorado
4 grandchildren
3 great grandchildren
3 step-daughters - Vickie and husband Dave Moles of Anchorage, AK.
Susan and husband Kirk Martens of Fremont
Lori and husband Bob Smith of Fremont
1 step-son - Steve and wife Mary Cline of Lincoln
8 step grandchildren
1 step great grandchild

Stan was preceded in death by his parents, daughter Nanette Cozetto and 7 brothers.

The memorial service will be 11:00 A.M. Friday February 25 at First Lutheran Church. The Rev. Matt Knopf will officiate. Private burial will be at Memorial Cemetery. Memorials are suggested to First Lutheran, Nye Legacy Health and Rehab and Odyssey Hospice. There is no visitation.
