My heartfelt sympathy and prayers go out to you Nancy and both Jim's and Jeanice's extended families. I met both Jeanice and Jim while I worked at the Animal Medical Clinic in Fremont. I met Jim in homeroom in 9th grade when we moved here. I always thought of him as a "gentle Ben" with a great big smile. We lived in the same neighborhood and he would walk over and I would trim his hair because the barber always cut it too short. I also wrote excuses for him when he skipped school. He and Nancy were friends for a long time. The world will be a little less sunny without him in it. May the Lord smile back at him when he gets there and prayers to Nancy and his family. Jan Chase-Nelson and Bruce Nelson

Just learned of Jim's passing and wanted to extend my sympathies to Nancy and the entire family. I met Jim in high school when he joined our motorcycle club the Barons. He was the kind of guy that you loved riding with because he made an immediate impression on people because of his size. Little did they know that his heart was really his biggest asset. He was truly one of the good guys and his presence on this earth will be missed. I hope there are motorcycles in heaven and we all get a chance to ride with him again one day! Ride in Peace (RIP)

My deepest sympathy to the family of Jim and his wife's family. My heart goes out to all of you. I went to grade school and high school with Jim. Memories of Jim and Rick always brought a smile to one. I still have a picture with Jim and Rick in it I took out in Colorado the summer of 1970. Not sure how the 2 of them ended up out there when we went to visit a friend of my friend. But never a dull moment while they were there. Jim could always make one smile. Know I am here in thought and prayers for all of you.

We are so shocked and feel terrible about Jim's passing. JIm and I were classmates and a group of us that lived in the same neighborhood use to walk home together after school. When I started dating Jim Clarke, later my husband, we were all part of the Barons motorcycle club. There were so many good times. When Nancy and Jim married we gathered for a lot of friend's parties. What I remember most about Jim is his sweet smile and calm nature. He was such a big guy with a big heart. Jim truly was a gentle giant. We're crushed he's gone. We care deeply about all Nancy and Jim's family is going through. Cherrie Beam-Clarke and Jim Clarke. .
