Leigh, Ne Friday, January 7, 2011 I just want to say Hank and Darlene were friends with my folks Don and Velda and I know they had good times together. The most memorable time for me was when we bought the Shetland Pony from Hank and I was around 6 years old and he told me that Dolly the mare was expecting and the new colt would be mine. I was so excited and I named her Penny, we were inseparable, she was my Indian horse like on tv cowboys and indians. I just thought Hank was the greatest person on earth. Darlene, you and your family have my deepest Sympathy. He will be missed. God Bless you. Peggy.Pam Hockamier Stamer

Clarkson, NE Thursday, January 6, 2011 Jo and family(especially Jackie and Dean Novotny), So sorry to hear of Hank's passing. He was a wonderful person and I especially enjoyed him when he worked at Clarkson High School when I was in school. He always made me smile and I enjoyed visiting with you two when you came into Gardenland to get plants and seeds for your garden. I thought you two looked great when I saw you at Delbert Nelson's funeral(I know that's been a while). I hope he didn't suffer with whatever he had. Jackie, Dean had this to go through first and now it's your turn. It's never easy to lose a parent(mom passed away 12 years ago in December and Ken's folks are both gone). We're at the age we worry about and take care of parents, kids and, in my case, hopefully, grandkids someday. We take care of our parents and hopefully our kids will do the same for us someday. Our deepest sympathies go out to you all and just know that Hank is at peace now in his heavenly home. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.Betty J. Dolezal
