Seward, AK Tuesday, November 30, 2010 Scott was a truly loving and kind human being. He loved his family and friends. I always enjoyed listening to him play guitar! It has been quite a few years now since we have talked and sang and laugh, but I will not forget him. He was a very special person. My thoughts and prayers to Shawn and all of Scott's family! Palm Coast, FL Sunday, November 28, 2010 Very sorry to read of the passing of your dear loved one Scott. Life is such a precious gift and yet so short-lived for the time we exist. I am writing to share a few words of comfort and encouragement from the source of truth the bible. God holds out a wonderful hope for all those in the grave. At John 11:25 Jesus said "I AM THE RESURRECTION AND THE LIFE. HE THAT EXERCIES FAITH IN ME, EVEN THOUGH HE DIES, WILL COME TO LIFE." The nine accounts of ones in the bible who were resurrected are a guarantee that the resurrection of others is possible. God can bring back the billions of dead he holds within his perfect memory. (John 5-28,29) What a blessed reason to hope in God! With the gift of your memories of Scott they will bring you great joy. When a loved one becomes a memory that memory turns into a treasure. To help with the grieving process I found three ways. Talking and writing about my feelings. Also reading the information in the bible about the resurrection. May you and yours lean on Jehovah God for the strength you need at this sad time.. (PSALMS 83-18) Agape M.L. HurtMeri Schow Wells

Omaha, NE Tuesday, November 23, 2010 It was my pleasure to call Scott one of my dearest friends. We bowled together in leagues for years. We played in the bands Silent Rage and Mother's Mistake and wrote our very first song together called 'My Malibu'. Anyone who was lucky enough to hear Scotty play his acoustic guitar probably heard a version of that song. We also shared the ups and downs of countless Husker games, cold beer in hand, and even roomed together for a while after my first marriage ended. Unfortunately, we kinda lost touch once I remarried and moved to Omaha. Scott was a wonderful person and a great friend to many. He will be greatly missed, and my thoughts and prayers are with his family. RIP Scotty. Keep the stage warm for me until we meet again my friend.Chris Hancock
Fremont, NE Monday, November 22, 2010 Scott was a longtime friend of 27 plus years, going way back to when i was age 14 and being involved in a band called Silent Rage. I will always remember Scott's genuinely kind hearted, and caring personality. His, fanaticism of Husker Football which my brother and I both shared with him on so many Saturday afternoons and evenings. The fun times we had just sitting down and playing music for hours. But, most of all, I will always remember Scotty, the person... he simply was a great friend to have and I'm proud and grateful to have known him! Peace be with you now my friend! You will be missed!CHRIS
