Larry was born on January 23, 1946 in Fremont to Floyd and Marie (Thomsen) Conrad. He grew up on the farm south of Fremont in Saunders County. Larry attended school district 11 (south of Fremont) and graduated from Fremont Senior High in 1964, then attended Midland Lutheran College in Fremont for 2 years.

During his working years, he worked for Johnson Furniture for several years, the General Store, and for the past 10 years he was employed by Staples, just recently retiring.

On August 27, 1966, Larry was married in Fremont in Trinity Lutheran Church to Janet Mohr.

Survivors: wife - Janet
daughter - Michelle Conrad-Nielsen of Omaha
grandson - Dylan Nielsen of Omaha
brother - Floyd and wife Rosie Conrad of Corpus Christi, Texas
Larry was preceded in death by his parents and a granddaughter Ashley.

The funeral service will be 10:30 AM Wednesday (Oct. 6th), at Trinity Lutheran Church with the Rev. Dan Heuer officiating. The committal will be in Memorial Cemetery. Memorials are suggested to Trinity Lutheran Church. Visitation will be on Tuesday (Oct. 5th) at the Ludvigsen Mortuary, Fremont, from 2 to 8 PM, with the family receiving friends from 6 to 8 PM.
