I served in the armed forces.
Glenn was born March 29, 1929 to Doris and Clementine (Kunze) Reeder in Clinton, Iowa. Most of his early years were spent in Fremont.

Following high school, Glenn served in the United States Army from December of 1947 until November of 1951. He was the recipient of the Army Occupation Medal, Combat Infantryman Badge, and the Korean Service Medal with 3 Campaign Stars.

Following his return to Fremont, Glenn was married on September 7, 1952 to Peggy Diestel. For several years, he owned and managed the Pizza House (located across the street from the airport) in Fremont. He also was in car sales with Tom Murphy, and later he and his son Kirk operated the R&R Motors in Fremont.

Glenn was a member of Salem Lutheran Church.

Glenn was preceded in death by his wife Peggy on October 8, 1997, and by a daughter-in-law Sherri.

The funeral service will be 10 AM Saturday (April 13, 2013) at Salem Lutheran Church with the Rev. Del Hutton. The committal will follow in Prospect Hill Cemetery at Elkhorn with Military Honors by the Fremont Honor Guard of American Legion Post 20 and VFW Post 854. The family will direct the memorials. Visitation at the Ludvigsen Mortuary will be Friday from 2 to 8 PM, with the family receiving friends from 5 to 7 PM.
