I am so sorry to hear of Paul's passing. I got to know him via a series of used washing machines and dryers; his customer service was the absolute best. He was willing to explain things in a nice way, never condescending. It was always a pleasure to visit with him.

My heart felt prayers go out to the family. I know how it feels to loose the ones we love, I pray that they see this sad occasion as a move. Uncle Paul has moved in with Jesus. Preparing for the day when we too will move in with Jesus and all be together again. There are many things we will miss about Uncle Paul. But it is not the end, Jesus has promised us eternal life. And life in heaven is to be without sickness, without death, without sadness.. it is to be perfect. So those who do not understand may there be anglels at your side wrapping you in love, strength and encouragement to continue as you were.

I can't express my sadness at knowing that I won't be hearing from Paul again, and read his views in the Plainsman News!
The class of 1957 Fremont High has been a special memory for many of us. Paul was always a friend to everybody, and had that quick smile that made the day better.
May his family take comfort during this time of grief. Jan

I think that Paul was a friend to most everyone. He was a great citizen and a fun person to be around.

During last years 55th Class of 1957 reunion, I reminded Paul of the Saturday night when Paul, Ron Wyman and myself attended a midnight movie at the Empress Theater. Afterward, he invited us over to sleep in his front yard. It was quite an experience when I awoke the next morning to a lot of cars passing by and the people in them all staring at us. Paul said that many people had slept in his front yard
during our school years. I’m proud to have been one of them and proud to have known Paul.

My condolences to the Paul Fisher family.

Last year I too had heart surgery and on many days, I would look in my computer and there would be an email from Paul with a bit of humor or words of encouragement. They all brought a smile too my face. I know he has left so many friends in sadness by his passing. But, we all can feel blessed that we knew a great man, a great father, a man who cared about his community and was loyal to his untold number of true friends. He left his world a better place reflected by his life. May Paul rest in peace. My condolences to his wife and family.

My sincerest sympathy to Paul's family. I have some fond memories of Paul and Don. Paul was always a happy person and fun to be around. He spoke of his brother often when we would see each other. He came to my home on an appliance service call several years ago and we ended up visiting for two hours. I'm sure he was busy but took time to renew an old friendship. He will be missed.

    To the Fisher family,
I was so sorry to hear of Pauls passing. Please know you have my deepest condolences. I pray for friends to comfort you, faith to uphold you, and loving memories to heal your heart. Please remember the resurrection promise. Although it does not take away the pain felt from your loss, in time I pray that it will comfort you as it gives hope for a future when our enemy death (1 Corinthians 15:26) will be no more and we will embrace our loved ones again in paradise. John 5:21; John 6:40; John 11:11, 25-26; Revelation 21:3,4. Again, my deepest condolences. Thoughts and prayers of life and love are with the family.
