Sadly, we only today heard of Gladys' passing. What a wonderful woman and friend she has been to our family. I have many fond memories of visits to Gladys and Roland's and all the fun and giggling, especially between Gladys and Mom. It was wonderful! Also, she always had GREAT treats! I remember especially some brownies with mint frosting. To die for! We loved the decorations she would put out in the yard for holidays. She was so talented and so friendly. She really took in our Aunt Catherine when they lived next door to each other at Nye. That was a blessing! Our hearts go out to you. No one can replace a mother. BUT, I'm so happy to think of her with Roland and my parents, giggling over some silly thing and having fun together again.
    God bless,
    Rick and Diane (Erickson) Mead
