Brian L. Dean, 45, of Carter Lake, IA, formerly of Fremont, NE, passed away on Saturday, April 14, 2024 at his home.

He was born on January 3, 1979 in Fremont, NE to Dennis and Marcia (Sachs) Dean. He grew up in Fremont and attended Bergan Catholic School. After high school, he worked in the construction business for Scott Enterprises and East Homes in Omaha, NE. He then moved to Scottsdale, Arizona where he was a deckhand at Lake Pleasant Harbor, a favorite job of his. In 2007 he moved back to Omaha, NE after a serious car accident.

Brian thrived in the outdoors. He loved camping, fishing, hiking and soaking up the sun. He grew up working on all things mechanical with his father. He was a devoted dog lover, specifically the Boxer breed. Brian had a huge heart, an infectious laugh and a smile that will be missed by so many.

Brian endured endless hardships with his health after his car accident. He dealt with a great deal of pain that ultimately became too much for him to bear.
