Fremont, NE Tuesday, February 23, 2016 My deepest sympathy to all of you. Marilyn and Larry and her parents go way back. My family and Marilyn's family would get together as we were growing up. My fondest memories of Marilyn is at the Fremont Lakes where she and Larry taught me how to water ski. It even coaxed my dad to buy a boat. Another memory is roller skating in their basement. They had a great floor for doing that! Marilyn was always right there when I called to ask her to fill in for me at Trinity School office so that I could take some vacation. She would stop by the church/school office in the summer after her walks to just say "Hello"! We would talk about the last trip or biking adventure that she and Bob went on. She always had a wonderful smile and such compassion for people. She loved her grandson's so much. She was always there for Tina and Scott. Yes, she will be so missed by many of us. I wish all of you a lifetime of special memories and comforting time with your loved ones. God's Blessings to all of you.June and Steve Westphal

Omaha, NE Monday, February 22, 2016 Marilyn was just as kind and thoughtful as she was darling and upbeat. Last time I saw her we were visiting our Dad's at Shalimar Memory Care. Still lovely with that characteristic twinkle in her eyes, she gave me some renewed energy in a difficult time. Sincere sympathy to her sweet family.Joan Porter
Fremont, NE Monday, February 22, 2016 To all of you, Marilyn's family,We were saddened to hear of her illness and then the report of her being placed into Hospice Care. She was such a neat person to know. I bowled in the same league many years ago on Tuesday night with Marilyn and she was so much fun. And Tina what do I say to you, her daughter and her best friend. You were an awesome daughter to do all the things you did together and for each other. Marilyn's passing will leave an emptiness in your lives but if you believe God you know that you will make it through this and Marilyn is resting safely in the arms of God. May His comfort and peace be with all of you at this difficult time.
