Died Sunday, December 18, 2016 at the Good Samaritan Center in Scribner
Darlene was born November 19, 1928 in Fremont to Louis and Georgianna 'Lincoln' Stock. She lived most of her life in the North Bend and Fremont area. She worked at Wagner Mills in Schuyler for 19 years and enjoyed those many years of working with her follow co-workers. Darlene never really retired. After moving to Fremont to be closer to family she took on home health care and decided to be a caregiver to those that needed her the most. Many people's lives were touched by her, sometimes just sitting with them was enough, just knowing she was there.
Darlene married Raymond Severson on July 25, 1959 in Columbus, he preceded her in death on July 1, 1967. In May of 2002 Darlene met Clarence Utley and for the last 13 plus years he never left her side, even after her diagnosis of Dementia and eventually Alzheimer's. Clarence will forever be a part of our family, even after the loss of our mother.

Very special man Clarence Utley of Trenton, Missouri
Darlene was preceded in death by her husband Raymond, baby daughter Shelly, brothers Herb and Don, and sister Hazel.
Visitation will be Wednesday from 9am to 11am with the funeral to follow at 11am at the Ludvigsen Mortuary Chapel in Fremont. Burial will follow in Memorial Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the family for future designation to charity. The family wishes to extend their gratitude to the Good Samaritan Center in Scribner for the past year and a half of their love and nurturing for our mother in her final days.
