died Wednesday evening, March 15, 2017 in Dunklau Gardens, Fremont.
Margaret was born December 20, 1925 in Beatrice to Henry and Anna (Penner) Janzen. She grew up in Beatrice and graduated from high school there. She studied nursing, then worked in a doctor's office, where she met and later married Roger Holmes. They lived in Omaha, and to this union were born 2 daughters.
Later, in December of 1985, Margaret married D. Howard Gingerich and they moved from Omaha to Fremont.
Howard died in April of 2002.
Margaret was a member of First Lutheran Church and it's SOLO group.
Her survivors are 2 daughters Chris and husband Mike Stork of Arlington, Catherine and husband Captain James Jenks (US Navy) of Honolulu, Hawaii, 6 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her brother Ted Janzen.
There will be a memorial service 10:30 AM Monday (March 20th) at the Ludvigsen Mortuary Chapel with the Rev. Stephanie Tollefson. Memorials are suggested to the SOLO group of her church.
