Kansas City, MO Wednesday, August 18, 2021 Dear Sid and Mike, I'm truly sorry for the loss of your mother. I have great and distant memories of visiting your parents home in Hooper and at the few family get togethers we could have over the years. Willa reminded me so much of my Grandmother Elsie. I do remember some food your mom prepared as a youngster and as a grown up. Good as you'll find.Your distant cousin,
David Hadden

Herman, NE Tuesday, August 17, 2021 Our prayers of comfort for your families. Keith’s Mom,Lois, so enjoyed their face to face visits and conversations on the phone. And I loved getting to visit with her at our morning coffee time in Hooper. And I loved the history lessons I got when I took her for a “scenic” drive in the community and parts of her farm. Your families were surely blessed with such a sweet lady who loved her sports and was filled with laughter and stories to share.. Lois and Keith KrohnDon & Cheryl Hascall

, TX Monday, August 16, 2021 So sad to hear of Willa’s passing. She sure was a good friend through the years to my dad. I remember her and Don’s hospitality in having me for Thanksgiving dinner back in 1976 when I was in school at Cornhusker U. A great cook! God bless her!Captain Richard Schaffert, US Navy
Ogden, UT Sunday, August 15, 2021 Hi Sis,II'll always remember the school year that you and brother Bill spent with us circa 1944. Grandma was sick and Grandpa had to take her to South Texas. You were the best first baseman that our team ever had. God's probably even got a left handed glove available for you now!
See you soon, Richie Schaffert
