we never had the privilege of knowing Dale for a long time. we moved in across the street, and we soon became acquainted. he enjoyed just sitting on the front porch visiting. i would often walk our dog and stop by on the way. he enjoyed seeing the dog and couldn't figure out when he seen us coming which of us was better looking. I will miss our visits. and hearing the John Deere lawn mower coming down the street, as I knew he was coming over with some kind of new wisdom to share with me.

    with our sympathy

We all share your sorrow and remembrance at the passing of Dale. We enjoyed his visits out east when he could take a break from driving and meet with us for a brief moment of time to chat. I also recall visits to the farm as a youth running havoc with my cousins and enjoying the company of family and the great food and adventures. His passing closes a chapter on my life and even more with all of yours as a father, uncle, and grandfather. May you all celebrate his life and know that he is in God's loving embrace.
