We are so saddened about the news of such a fine young man being taken from this world way too early. Although, we don't really know AJ well, we do know the grandparents Allan and Joan Sawtelle. We were sitting by Allan when he received the call about the accident and had to leave. So very sad, a young man with so much future ahead of him.
Our sympathies to all of the family. Sending Prayers and Hugs your way for strength to get through the long days ahead.

Dear AJ, Joan, Al, and family:

We are so sorry to hear of the death of your son and grandson Emmitt. We are sad with you in these days. The loss of a child is a different kind of loss. It surprises us, and leaves us feeling helpless. It is a grief that lingers in moments you least expect. But in the midst of all of that, there is hope and grace. Emmitt is loved by God, now and always. Without any doubt. Remembering that, and then remembering all the love and joy that you shared with him can lift our spirits. Remember all those good times that were shared, and remember the love of God that surrounds you always. You are in our thoughts and prayers.
