Dianne grew up in Scribner and graduated from Scribner High School. She loved to spend time with family and was a big sports fan. She enjoyed shopping at garage sales and was an avid reader. She spent a few years working in Lincoln at the Department of Roads and an insurance company. She later operated a pre-school in her home in Wakefield. But above all, she was a loving grandmother, mother, wife, sister, and daughter.
Her family includes: (husband) William Schnoor, of Fremont; (son) Mike Schnoor and (daughter-in-law) Shelly, (granddaughter) Payton and (grandson) Jordan, all of Norfolk; (mother) Dorothy Clausen, of Fremont; (brother) Ray Wobken and (sister-in-law) Sue, of Seward; (sister-in-law) Doris Wobken, of Scribner; (step-brother) Carroll Clausen, of Chesapeake, Virginia; numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.
Dianne was preceded in death by her (father) Irvin Wobken; (brother) Richard Wobken; (nephew) Bruce Wobken; (step-father) Hans Clausen.
The funeral service will be 2:00 p.m. Thursday, May 12, 2011, at First Lutheran Church (3200 E. Military) in Fremont. Burial will follow in Memorial Cemetery. The visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. on Wednesday, May 11, 2011, at the Ludvigsen Mortuary Chapel in Fremont.
