passed away at home at 10pm on June 12, 2024.
Gary was born in Omaha on April 13, 1947 to William H. and Alice 'Wildhagen' Petersen. He graduated from Ashland High School in 1965, after which he enlisted in the United States Army and served as a tank crewman in Vietnam.
Gary was preceded in death by his parents and his brothers, Bill and Bud. He is survived by his wife Donna 'Bockelman' Petersen of Fremont.
Gary, enjoy your walks in heaven.
